How to Use (User guide V-steaming)?

V-Steam Herb Bags: User Guide

Three Ways to Use Your V-Steam Herbs

  1. With a V-Steam Bidet: Available in our webshop.

  2. In a Vaginal Steam Sauna: A V-steam chair specifically designed for steam sessions.

  3. Over a Bowl or Pan: Please note that sitting directly over a cooking pan is not recommended for safety reasons.

How to Steam

  1. Boil: Pour 1 to 2 liters of water (preferably purified) into a medium-sized pan and place the closed V-steam bag in the water. DO NOT add essential oils or any other ingredients.

  2. Steep: Bring the water to a boil for 10 minutes. Turn off the heat, cover with a lid, and let it steep for an additional 7 to 10 minutes.

  3. Check Temperature: Remove the lid and check the temperature by placing your hand 25 cm above the water. DO NOT touch the water, the heat source, or the pan! If it feels too hot, wait 30 seconds and check again. Repeat until the steam temperature feels comfortable.

  4. Transfer: Pour the water and the herb pouch into your bowl, V-sauna, or V-steam bidet and place it on/in the toilet.

  5. Position: Remove your underwear and sit over the steam. If using a bidet, keep at least 10 cm between your body and the water; if using a sauna box, keep a distance of 25 cm.

  6. Stay Warm: Keep your upper body warm during the session with warm clothing or a bathrobe. It is important to prevent cold from entering the body while you are trying to warm it up.

Duration and Frequency

  • Standard Session: We recommend steaming for 20 minutes.

  • Short Session (Max 10 mins): If you have an active infection, night sweats, hot flashes, or a menstrual cycle shorter than 27 days, do not steam for more than 10 minutes.

  • Frequency: We recommend steaming once a week or for 3 consecutive days shortly before or after your period.

After steaming, you may experience:
